The players UNION wants more than a 50/50 split of the profits.
So if there is no season and the owners lose an average of $500 million each will the players share a 50/50 split of the losses?
Back in 1998 when they had their last strike they started the season in January sometime...played only 50 games and still got a pretty good salary. That season was shorter and still just as good as an 82 game season. Most of the players pace themselves for 82 games so with 50 games you get games were they actually give close to 100% each night. In short..none of the owners and players I beleive actually beleive anything will be done before January.....Vacation extended!!
