Oh yeah you gotta love George! Went to see him live in Bismarck in the early 90s...awesome! George was one of those comics who bordered on philosopher...kind've a Voltaire of our ages. He probably offended alot of religious people...but if you can't hear an opposing view without falling off the religious bandwagon then you probably aren't to religious....does that make any sense at all?? we were born with a brain to think, wonder, ponder, etc.

I have heard this before. I do not like listening to his diatribe. It does not offend me, I just

feel bad. From my perspective, and it is not for me to judge, but I bet he wishes he had some

serious air conditioning right now. He had the right, because God lets us choose, to reject the

word of God as truth, so the chips fall where they may. Who knows, maybe he repented at the last

moment. For his souls sake, I hope so.

Do people only love God because of heaven?? What happens if we have a God and he says this is our only at bat?? Do we still love him till death?? just a scandalous ponder

Well Neon, I would say the idea that we only have one shot is true. We have this shot here on earth and

that is it, to make our peace with God. His promise to us in the scripture is that there is a hereafter and I am counting on that promise. I find no use in pondering something the scripture does not say is so.

I listened to part of his video. So sad.... Felt sad for the people in the audience who were cheering him on.
